I was dying for a good burger. Probably one of the best I have ever had. Should of quit there. The bun was beyond dry it was stale and then toasted.
It crumbled like sawdust. Even a new chef knows a stale bun. This is the last time I will go to Trends restaurant at recommend it. Also the waitress was run of her feet taking orders, making drinks, clearing the table, scraping the dishes. At one point there was three other people standing talking. TV was playing children's surgery asked for it to be turned off was told they only had one channel.
Didnt offer to turn TV off. Food was undercooke d. We will never b Prices outrageous for breakfast. Had breakfast eggs were cooked to much potatoes were hard..
Had to get my own receipt Their food is delicious. They now have heir original menu and Chinese. Our group of 11 came today to celebrate my daughter after her dance recital. The food was delicious and we were treated well.
Chef Ryan always delivers. Had the apple butter wings. Won ton soup delis. Left very very happy! Another amazing meal at Trends. Everything was cooked to perfection , service was amazing and they have New Limgburg Belgium Blonde on tap.

We managed to get there last evening. Our meal was good I am thinking they need to find their feet after reopening. So I know we will go back. My husband had the chicken fried steak. It sounded unusual so of course that's what he ordered as he's always looking for new things to try. The meat was very tough and difficult to eat I would suggest that the 'chicken fried steak' go by the wayside as a cheaper cut of steak takes hours of slow cooking to be tender and the 'quick fry' just doesn't do it.
I had the seafood pasta. The flavour was very nice, the pasta cooked perfect, the sauce had the perfect flavour to not over power the seafood but compliment the mussels, shrimp and scallops. Okay, all I can say is they need to add more seafood and sauce. It's a pretty pricey meal and if they just tossed in one or two more shrimp and one or two more mussels with more sauce the meal would have been perfect and well worth the money.
After having eaten the scallops on the east coast, the tiny pencil erasers they call scallops here always disappoint and last evening was no exception. Scallops should be at least at a minimum one inch in diameter and never over cooked.
There was nothing 'canned' and the food is real. That is priceless in the crap food other restaurant s are passing off today.
Simcoe needs Trends to survive and be fantastic. Perfect, fresh and a wonderful blend of baby greens, cranberry, almonds and house dressing. My partner had the chicken samosas as his ap and really enjoyed them. I know the owners at Trends are passionate and eager to please Again, we will be back. The food was amazing.
The service, however, was not great. Our waitress never came back to see how our food w We asked for ketchup and it never came. Probably won't be back for a while Their butter chicken curry with rice and naan bread is the best I've had hand down!
Only complaint would be that not enough naan bread is included with the curry especially the large. Don't know the definition of bistro. This is not an enjoyable place. Will be back soon!! I'm a first timer at this restaurant and only had breakfast but it was the most amazing Eggs Benedict. The Chef made my homefries to order and the coffee was delicious. I'll definitely be returning an We just finished quite possibly the best bruschetta I have ever had the pleasure of eating.
The service was quick, the food was phenomenal and the portion sizes were perfect. I will definitely be back soon! The best butter children i have ever had. There service is grate and always with a smile. They have a wide variety of cuisine. Been going to Three west trends bistro for a while now. Amazing food and friendly staff. Its by far my favourite restaurant and my first choice for an amazing meal every time.
